On Monday, July 1st, the 39th Annual CF-Mariners Golf Tournament took place at the beautiful Broadmoor Golf Club in Seattle. This event continues to attract the region’s premier business leaders and local celebrities, all coming together for a great day of golf while supporting the life-saving mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives. Since 1955, the Foundation has been a driving force behind the pursuit of a cure, thanks to the dedication and financial backing of supporters, including patients, families, clinicians, researchers, volunteers, and donors.

Cactus was proud to participate in this year’s event. We sent Kellan Kubo to post up on the 8th hole, where he kept the golfers fueled up with our famous Spicy Ahi Tacos. The tacos, known for their perfect blend of spice and fresh ahi tuna, were a hit among the participants, adding a flavorful twist to their day on the course.

Kellan had a fantastic time representing Cactus. “It was an incredible day meeting so many business leaders and Mariners coaches,” Kellan said. “Learning more about the mission of the CF Foundation and seeing the community come together to support such a great cause was truly inspiring. Plus, as a huge Mariners fan, it was a dream come true! Go M’s!”

The event was attended by 165 people, including numerous Mariner coaches and business leaders who are close to the CF mission. The combination of good company, delicious food, and a beautiful setting made for a memorable day.

Our involvement with the CF-Mariners Golf Tournament is just one example of how Cactus engages with our community and supports important causes. We believe in giving back and are always looking for ways to make a positive impact. Stay tuned for more updates on our community involvement and upcoming events.
