Spicy Tacos, Big Impact: Giving Back at the Taste of West Seattle

We were thrilled to take part in the recent Taste of West Seattle, supporting the West Seattle Food Bank’s important work in addressing food insecurity and providing vital services to our neighbors in need. Events like these remind us of the power of community and the importance of supporting one another. We were honored to be part of such a meaningful evening and look forward to many more opportunities to contribute.

A special thank you goes to our West Seattle resident and Operations Manager, Jodi, as well as our Multi-Unit Chef Kellan and Alki Beach Executive Chef Kyle, for their dedication in making the night a success. Their passion for our community shone through as we served up our crowd-favorite Spicy Ahi Tacos, which were a big hit.

While we love participating in these special one-off events, our commitment to giving back runs even deeper. Our donation program is robust and highly focused on local schools, making hundreds of contributions to educational institutions each year. In fact, we never say no to local schools. Additionally, we select four major national events or organizations to support annually, aiming to raise $10,000 or more for each. These efforts are central to our mission, reinforcing our goal of making a lasting and positive impact on the community.

If your local (King or Pierce County) school could benefit from our support, we encourage you to reach out through our donations page. Supporting schools and our youngest community members is a cause close to our hearts, and we’re always eager to lend a hand.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped support the West Seattle Food Bank!
