Madison Park Temporary Closure
On Thursday July 9th, we learned that a staff member, who has not worked since Monday June 29th, has since tested positive for COVID-19. This case follows two cases we became aware of on Wednesday July 8th. The two employees that we learned about on the 8th were roommates. We believe that all three cases were community, not restaurant spread. Upon learning of each case, we immediately informed all staff members and reported them to the King County Public Health Department.
Due to these positive cases, we’ve decided to close our restaurant until further notice. We have instructed all of our staff members to get tested, and we will also be deep cleaning and disinfecting our entire facility following CDC and King County Public Health guidelines. We will not reopen until the facility is safe and until we can staff the restaurant with employees who have not been exposed to team members who have tested positive.
The health and wellbeing of our guests, staff members and communities could not be more important to us. We are adamant about being industry leaders in regards to cleanliness and sanitation practices and have gone above and beyond in implementing Governor Inslee’s “Safe Start” requirements for Phase 2. Our conviction to operating at the highest health and safety standards will not change and we hope to be able to serve you in the very near future.
